Dhikala forest rest house features 25 rooms out of which 20 rooms are booked online and 5 rooms are booked offline. All rooms have attached washrooms with them. No rooms are interconnected and mostly rooms are facing Ramganga Reservoir so all room assures privacy.

These rooms are further classified into 05 wings as mentioned below. Like Dhikala Forest Rest House is a unique name , its wing names are also unique

At Dhikala FRH. in rooms there are no Fridge , No TV , No Tea, coffee kettle facility. Rooms are very basics but neat and clean. A spacious sitout area of rooms with lush gardens are another place to enjoy fresh air with an unparalleled view of Ramganga reservoir.

These all rooms are non ac means there is no heating in winters and no air conditioned cooling in summers , although in summers water coolers are there. All rooms are spacious enough to accommodate 1 extra bed with two twin beds.For 3rd occupants they offer a rollaway bed. Apart from twin beds in room there is 1 writing desk and 2 chairs are also placed in rooms. All rooms have 24 hours electricity in rooms, Mobile flashlight can be useful if in emergency u r need to go outside room at night.Every room have a window for natural light , both window and door have mosquito screen for extra protection from flies and mosquitos. 04 rooms in New FRH wing at Dhikala Forest House

These 4 rooms are above reception and canteen. So these rooms are closest to canteen. In this room a particular room offers unparalleled view of Ramganga Reservoir. To access these rooms one have to climb stairs.

05 Old Forest Rest House rooms at Dhikala Forest House

These rooms are most sought after rooms of dhikala campus. This block is more than 100 years old. Around 40 years back when there was no fencing (in fact no other wing was there) Old FRH was only block was there so elephants and other wild animals could freely come in dhikala compound, That time walking in dhikala zone was allowed so wilderness feel was much amplified in Dhikala zone.

Here 2 rooms are on Ground Floor and 3 rooms are on first floor. First floor rooms offers unmatched view of Ramganga and green forest in backdrop. These rooms are booked offline only. In Old Forest Rest House block mostly dignitaries have stayed, including the Prime Minister and President of India.

07 Annexe rooms at Dhikala Forest House

This category comprises most rooms in Dhikala FRH and all rooms are on ground floor and from sitout one can enjoy beautiful view of Ramganga River. 5 rooms are of normal size while 2 rooms are little small.

06 Hutment rooms at Dhikala Forest Rest House

There are 6 hutment rooms located at a peaceful location in dhikala campus. These all 06 rooms are on ground floor. All six rooms are same in size and decor. This block of rooms is most recommended for travellers looking for private location. Huge lawn in front of rooms offers a great space for families sitting together.

03 Cabin rooms at Dhikala Forest Rest House

3 rooms are in a building. Again one room’s window opens towards Ramganga reservoir and offers beautiful view.

24 bed Dormitory

Away from room blocks there are 24 beds of dormitory. As shown in picture these are bunk beds , distributed in two rooms, each room have 12 bunk beds. In rooms 3 bunk beds are in one corner. In dormitories washroom are not attached.
